Judith H. (Scollin) Palmer, age 62, of Peabody, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at Salem Hospital, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Arthur E. Palmer Jr., her husband of 31 years.
Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Callahan) Scollin. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 1966, and had lived in Lynn her entire life before moving to Peabody 4 years ago.
Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters Maureen Cleghorn and her fiancé Omari Clements, of Lynn, and Dawn (Ramsdell) Ball, and her husband Derek, of North Reading, 1 son Arthur E. Palmer III, of Somerville, 2 sisters Carol Doherty, and her husband Jim LaValle, of Amesbury, and Linda Sullivan, of Lynn, 1 brother Neal Doherty, of Lynn, a sister in law Thelma Clark, of Virginia, 3 grandchildren Aaliyah Cleghorn, Cyan Clements, and Jillian Ball, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert and Thomas Scollin and David Murphy, and her beloved sister Joan Doherty.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 1-4pm in the SOLIMINE LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME 426 BROADWAY (RTE129), LYNN. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
