Grace M. (Quealy) Braccio, of Swampscott, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at the age of 85, in the loving care and gentle hands of the staff at Lafayette Nursing Home in Marblehead. She was the wife of the late Joseph Braccio, and the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen B. (Smethers) Quealy.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Pierce and her husband Robert of Swampscott and her three grandchildren, Megan, Emily and Nicholas Pierce. She was the sister of the late Robert, William Thomas Jr. and James Quealy. She was the aunt of many.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott on Thursday at 10AM. Interment will be in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held in the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN & RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 67 Ocean St. (Rt1A) Lynn on Wednesday from 4-8PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Lafayette Nursing Home Residents Fund, 25 Lafayette Street, Marblehead, MA 01945.
