Larry White, age 82 of Lynn died Wednesday November 18th 2009, in Union Hospital after a battle with lung disease. He was the husband of the late Frannie White with whom
he shared 51 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Joseph and Jennie White and brother of the late Jackie White. He was born and raised in West Lynn . He was a graduate of Sacred Heart, Breed Junior High and Lynn Classical High School. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. Larry was a Past Commander and lifetime member of the William P. Connery Post 6 American Legion. He was a master rigger at the GE until his retirement after over forty years of service. He was also a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He was a good friend and many were charmed by his wit and sense of humor. Many who knew him referred to him fondly as La La.

Larry is survived by his two sons, Don White and his wife Theresa, and Michael White of Lynn: his daughter, Diane Osborne and her husband Shawn of Lynn; He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his grandson Lawren and his wife Megan, granddaughter Ariel White, grandsons Daniel and Zachary Osborne, twin great grandchildren, Elden and Arden White all of Lynn. He is also survived by his sister Janet Harvey of Lynn and his sister in laws Constance Sotiropoulos, Bessie "Mickey" Warner and Sophie Nelsnik all of Lynn, and many nieces and nephews.

Service Information: Funeral from the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN & RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt129) Lynn on Monday at 9AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Lynn at 10AM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-6PM. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that Memorial Donations be made to the Michael J. Kelly Scholarship Fund, c/o Cooperative Bank, 671 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
